Viera High School Football Team Hazing Video Viral On Twitter, Reddit: Coach, Students, Football Program Suspend Amid Investigation of The Incident

 


At Viera High School in Florida, the head coach of Football has been made duty-free post-suspension. Besides, the entire football program has been suspended, along with several students until further notice.

This happens to post an alleged hazing incident that occurred in the locker room of the players. As per the statement released by Brevard Public Schools on Sunday, a video of the same was also recorded.

The video that was made allegedly was viewed by FOX 35. In the Viera High School hazing viral video on Twitter and Reddit, a student was pushed onto the ground and surrounded by other student. It was seen in the video that the group of students sexually assaulted the student lying on the ground of the locker room.


To not disclose the identity of the victim, FOX 35 has decided to not reveal the video. No concrete charges or arrests have been announced on the grounds of the video yet.


Dr. Mark Rendell, the Brevard Public Superintendent stated on Sunday, “Hazing, bullying, and intimidation have no place in Brevard Public Schools.” This was posted on the district’s website.

Dr. Mark Rendell, the Superintendent continued, “We have spent the past several days investigating the hazing incident involving members of the Viera High football team. Today, we have decided to suspend all Viera High football team activities (varsity and junior varsity) until further notice and we have relieved the varsity head coach of his duties until further notice.”
